Lisa says yoga is not just for every season in the year but for every body, whatever its shape and size. Her Yoga for the Seasons centre at Moonee Marketplace offers classes which link exercise for body and mind with the seasonal aspects of nature, improving health and fitness by strengthening each person’s system and tuning it to the fluctuations of the natural world, concentrating on different organs and parts of the body as the seasons change.
Known as Ki and Ryoho Yoga, this very different Japanese style of yoga therapy is a dynamic form which integrates traditional Hatha yoga with the meridian based healing arts of Japan and China.
Lisa said it offered a remarkably accurate and remedial system of healing and maintaining health. “Yoga changed my life”, she said. “It turned into something I wanted to share with others. “I am passionate about leading people to change their lives by moving their bodies to health.
After training in Australia and Japan, the former high-powered business executive taught and shared yoga with private, corporate and celebrity clients in Australia & overseas, became involved in 2 television shows & founded two Sydney yoga centres.
